The voyeur in me — or maybe it’s just my innate and insatiable curiosity as a writer — loves looking at photos on other people’s sites. So here are a few pics of my life for you to check out if you wanna.
This is my lovely daughter, Pearl, in my arms. She was four weeks old in this picture.

Here is another of Pearl at six months old. Isn’t she ridiculously cute?!

This is me holding my son, August. He died at birth and I miss him every day.

Here are my husband and my little nephew, a couple of years ago. See why I wanted to marry this guy? I knew he was going to make a great father. (The big one, not the little one. Though he’ll make a great dad someday, too.)

These are my doggies, Monske and Laser. Monske actually passed away in the summer of 2010, but he was sort of a soul-mate kind of dog…so on this page he stays.

These are the best dumplings I’ve ever had, from Da Niang in Suzhou, China.

That’s right, we went to China!

This is my band, playing at the Hole in the Wall here in Austin.

I like making stuff.

And doing triathlons.
(That was the Danskin tri, back in June ’07 — my very first one.)
And I love me some books.

Love,
Catherine
I love to go to random people’s blogs and look at all their pictures… it’s kind of even better when I know the person.
Yeah!! I need to get a picture of YOU up here!
hey, the last picture looks just like woodland! except really it’s just the bookcases from there… but it did remind me of home for a second, which was nice. see, pictures=awesome.
Did you hear that they’re busting Carl Burnet out back?
Hey Pez Dispensor — hee hee.
I know which movie that came from!!
Just had to drop a quick note to say I LOVED you in D&C and you were my crush for the second half of the 90′s!
Anyway it’s great to see you have awesome intrests (this coming from a rabid music fan and former competative cyclist) and seem like such a cool and egnimatic person.
That’s all. : )
Hi Jim — a VERY late reply (sorry!) to say, thank you for visiting my site, and for your sweet comment. I hope 2010 is being good to you so far! Can’t wait for the weather to warm up so I can start cycling and jogging again…
Too bad you aren’t here in SoCal; it’s 80 degrees in Feb!!!!!
I always wanted to be the guy you kissed on top of a hill listening to seals and croft. You’re still gorgeous as you were when D & C was made. <3
